This women's heated scarf is a USB powered neck warmer made from a soft fleece, cotton and acrylic blend. A built-in heating element warms the neck area, and a single button on the scarf switches between three heat settings: 42°C, 48°C and 55°C. It suits cycling, camping, walking, commuting and other cold-weather outdoor days, and at 110 g it is light enough to pack in a bag.

To use it, unfold the scarf, take the USB cable out of the back pocket and plug it into a power bank (not included), computer or power adapter. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the red light comes on, then short press to change settings. The scarf is not a power bank, so you will need your own. It is available in black, grey, navy blue, pink, red, beige, light grey and dark grey, in a plain solid style that goes with a winter coat. It can be washed directly with clean water and does not need to be taken apart, but do not soak it for long periods.

How is the scarf powered? It runs on 5V 2A USB power (8W rated). Plug the USB cable from the back pocket into a power bank, computer or power adapter. A power bank is not included. If there is no response, check that the plug is fully inserted and that your power bank is charged.

How do the heat settings work? Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the red light comes on to turn it on, and hold again to turn it off. Short press to change setting: green is low (42°C), blue is medium (48°C) and red is high (55°C).

How long does it stay warm?

It depends on the heat level and the power source. On low, a 10,000 mAh power bank runs most heated scarves and jackets for several hours. Plug-in blankets run as long as they're switched on.

Is the power bank included?

Check the product description. Most USB-heated items work with any standard USB power bank (5V/2A), so you can use one you already own.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Disconnect the power and remove the battery or controller first, then hand wash or use a gentle cycle in cool water. Air dry. Never iron or tumble dry.

Is it safe to wear all day?
